A Productive Month

I had quite a productive month. I am one scene shy of being done. I wrote an ending just to get something down on paper, but...

A Month of Procrastination

I made great progress to the halfway point, right up until school swung up into full gear and the tomato vines hung heavy with fruit.

Halfway? Maybe

I haven't been writing long enough to have a good feel for my word count goals. I randomly chose 100,000 as my end goal...

One Third

For me, there is nothing like watching a number and a chart rise to a finale. I have been making progress through the first draft...

Writer's of the Future

I entered a very short story last quarter to the Writer's of the Future contest. And as expected I didn't make the cut.

End of Year Update

Outlining for NaNoWriMo

I feel like it has taken me some time to find an outlining process that works for me. I seemed to stumble over this for quite some time.

It's NaNoWriMo Time

My first full, real fantasy novel came about because of a little challenge, a little boredom, and a new city.

A Story Beginning

Wars of the Roses meets aerial combat. Add in some magic, break the world (a lot), and my story begins to come together. 'Stones of Change'

KATHRYN BIGELOW

About Me

I have been writing fantasy novels for several years now but for as long as I can remember I have been writing something. Nanowrimo reminded me of my love of spinning a good story.
